Biography
James Shawcroft,15, is a tenth grader at Lathrup High School in Fairbanks. He started mushing when he was six and ran the Jr. Willow 100 in 2019 and 2020 finishing second both times. He ran the Jr. Iditarod last year and finished 8th,. He enjoys E-Sports, hunting and camping. He plans to go to college and doesn’t expect to continue running dogs after high school.
