Biography
Baille Holt, 17, started mushing six years ago after she and her family were in Kaltag and watched the Iditarod go through. She has run the Jr. Quest three times and the Jr. Iditarod twice. A senior at North Pole High School, Baille participates in varsity volleyball, varsity softball and sings in the choir. She recently participated in the all-state treble choir. This summer she played in a softball team that traveled out of the state so girls in Alaska could get noticed for college. She also enjoys watching movies, reading and singing. She plans to go to college and study to get a degree in veterinary medicine. Baille comes from a family of seven children. Her dad is an Iditarod veteran.
