Biography

Dallas Seavey was born in Virginia where he lived the first six years of his life. The family came back to Alaska in 1992.

Dallas will turn 18 the day before the start of the Iditarod in 2005, which will make him the youngest person to ever run the Iditarod. He also is signed up for the Jr. Iditarod in 2005 and will be the first person ever to do both the Jr. Iditarod and the Iditarod in the same year.

He finished second in the last two Jr. Iditarod races and ran the Kusko 300 last year, finishing fourth.

Dallas currently works as a tour guide and says his hobby is USA wrestling.
