Biography
Tamara Teller, 14, has lived in Alaska all her life. She is a freshman at Chugiak High School and participates in cross country skiing, rifelry and track. She says she also enjoys soccer, gymnastics, snowboarding, volleyball, reading and friends. She has been mushing all her life because “my family mushed.” This will be her first Jr. Iditarod but she did run in Fur Rondy last year to get some experience. After graduation, she plans to go to college and study international affairs. She says she does plan to continue mushing.
