Biography

Amy Gundlach, 14, started mushing in 2001. She will be running dogs from Wayne and Chris Curtis’ kennel in her first Jr. Iditarod. A freshman at Wasilla High School, she participates in Science Olympiad, soccer and volunteers at a few elementary schools. After graduation, she wants to go to college and become an occupational therapist for children. She says she does want to continue dog mushing.
