Fifteen year old Eva started mushing at the age of four because her parents had Alaskan Malamutes. She says she’s been dreaming of running the Jr. Iditarod for the last 10 year. She started her own dog treat business, Eva Diva Puppy Snacks, to finance her goal. She is the only racing kennel in North Dakota. In 2021, she placed 10th in the Wolftrack Classic and won the Jr. Beargrease in 2021. A tenth grader, Eva’s hobbies are art and cross country. After high school, she plans to continue mushing and earn a degree in graphic design.
