Biography
Calvin Daugherty, 17, was 12 when he helped his dad train for the Iditarod, and he has been mushing ever since. A junior at Chugiak High School, Calvin is a varsity wrestler and also enjoys ice climbing, rock climbing and mountaineering. His Dad, Larry, has run the Iditarod three times and is also an elite mountain climber. Calvin enjoys climbing mountains with his dad. After high school, he will apply to Westpoint and says he does plan to continue mushing.
