Biography
Rebecka Stephan, 16, started mushing seven years ago. She says she’s had dogs all her life and “our dad got us into mushing.” The 2017 Jr. Iditarod will be her first race. She is homeschooled in the ninth grade and says her hobbies are playing the violin and swimming. She isn’t sure yet what she’ll do after graduation but she does plan to continue mushing.
