Biography
Zachary Sky, 14, says he began mushing when he was two years old. “I am the youngest of ten kids, five brothers and five sisters, and my grandparents ran dogs. We fish. We are an outdoors family. I love pizza and girls!” Zach is a ninth grade student at the Wasilla branch of the Raven School, part of the Yukon-Koyukuk School District. He participates in dogs, deep sea diving, snow sports and the three R’s. He says he’s also interested in fishing, hunting, diving. “It’s all about the sea and the snow.” After graduation from high school, he wants to be a commercial fisherman and already owns his own boat. He does want to continue mushing.
