Justin Fink, 15, was born in Michigan where he has lived his entire life. He is a cancer survivor from childhood leukemia. He became an Eagle Scout at the age of 13. Justin says he started mushing four years ago and said his interest developed after watching “Iron Will.? “I love to be in God’s backyard with just me and my dogs.? He is a tenth grader and is homeschooled. In his local home school group, he participates in karate and swimming. He says his other interests are hunting, fishing and trapping. “I also play guitar in my church youth group.? After high school, Justin plans to go to college to become a DNR officer or study graphic arts and he says he will continue mushing.
