Biography
Daniel Wilbert, 15, grew up in Webster, New York, where his family has a tree farm and an auto dealership. He says he started mushing in 2002 and that mushing was his childhood dream. “I’ve always been interested in dogs,” he says. A home schooled ninth grader, Daniel enjoys paintball and movies. After high school he plans to go to college or enter the military and says he will continue to mush.
