Biography
Joshua Cadzow, 17, started mushing when he was very young. His dad has had dogs since he was born. He recently moved back to Ft. Yukon to finish he senior year in high school and says he’s been entering local races there this year. He also ran the Jr. Iditarod in 2004. Joshua says, “I am very active with my high school basketball team and with senior fundraising. ” He says his team will be playing in a tournament in Tok the weekend of the Jr. Iditarod so he’ll miss that game. He says he also enjoys hockey, snow machining, trapping and fishing. He has a sister and younger brother. His dad, Clifton, is an Iditarod veteran. Joshua plans to attend a two-year college or enter a vocational tech school after graduation and says he will continue with mushing.
