Kathleen Blevins, 16, started mushing seven years ago because her sister was mushing and she thought it looked like fun. She worked on the glacier last summer with sled dog tours. She has two sisters who mush. She has run the Jr. Quest. A junior at Lathrop High School, Kathleen says she enjoys fishing, camping, skiing and snowboarding. After she graduates, she plans to travel around Alaska and says she’ll continue mushing.
