Hometown: Wasilla, Alaska


Anna Coke, 16, was born and raised in Alaska. She started mushing in 2018 because she says, “she has always been amazed by it and the amount of hard work it takes to be a musher.” She ran Jr. Iditarod last year and finished 2nd in her rookie year. She plans to run the Willow 100 this year as well as the Jr. Iditarod. Anna is home schooled and in the 10th grade. She plays violin in the Matsu Youth Orchestra and enjoys leading worship at he youth group. She lists her hobbies as downhill skiing, and hiking as well as playing the violin and leading worship. She is one of 6 children and they have all grown up in Alaska. She loves doing anything outside with the dogs. She says she enjoys winter, photography, coffee and dogs! After high school, Anna plans to do mission work and says she will continue mushing.
