Race Marshal Christine (Delia) Kreiger first and only girl to win the Jr Iditarod®. Trail ran from the Islander in Big Lake to Yentna Station Roadhouse with the required layover at Yentna Station and return to Big Lake on Sunday. Trail length was approximately 140 miles.

This race was dedicated to the memory of Dr. Robert Grohs, a long standing supporter and member of the Jr. Iditarod® Trail Committee . " Dr. Bob" passed away within hours of the start of the race last year. He will be long remembered and sorely missed.
